Medical XR tool “Holoeyes MD” updated with improved data sharing with other facilities and XR device compatibility

On January 27, 2026, Holoeyes Inc. released version 3.2, the latest version of its medical image processing software, “Holoeyes MD.” By leveraging XR, the software aims to enable more intuitive sharing of 3D models, helping to create a smoother medical environment.

“Holoeyes MD” is software that converts CT and MRI images into 3D models and reproduces them in the cloud. It is widely used for surgical simulations and examination support in the surgical field.

The newly added library function allows for the sharing of 3D models across facilities. Data from other facilities with the patient’s permission can also be accessed via the cloud. The cloud is an online data storage location. This system automatically organizes various cases and allows them to be used at your own facility.

The Navigation View function displays the overall model and the viewer’s line of sight in real time, allowing third parties to objectively view and share information. By making it easier to share visual information, it supports on-site communication. This latest update also enhances this function’s compatibility with mixed reality headsets such as Apple Vision Pro and the Meta Quest series. 3D information is overlaid on the real world using the pass-through function of each device. This creates an environment where consideration can be carried out from multiple perspectives.

The company aims to recreate medical images and knowledge in space and optimize their sharing. It is also developing services such as educational app development and data provision. In 2024, it will launch its corporate service “Holoeyes Biz” and is expanding overseas. It is currently working to promote medical digital transformation both domestically and internationally, including promoting its business in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East.
