Joypolis Tokyo has announced that it will open a new facility incorporating XR technology, “Joypolis Sports X,” in July 2026. It will be located on the 5th floor of the Island Mall at Decks Tokyo Beach (1-6-1 Daiba, Minato-ku, Tokyo).
The facility will be an evolved version of “Joypolis Sports,” where visitors can enjoy digital sports entertainment. The new facility will feature a lineup of content that combines XR technology, offering an experience where the digital and physical worlds intersect.
The “X” in the facility name represents three meanings: extreme excitement, unknown possibilities, and innovation (Transformation). By combining the fun of traditional Joypolis sports with XR technology, the aim is to create an experience that overturns conventional notions of sports. Detailed information about the facility’s content will be announced sequentially in the future.
