CCMC Co., Ltd. has launched the Steam store page for “HoloTrials: Case Covered,” a mystery adventure game developed by VTAC Games, under its “holo Indie” brand, which is a derivative work of Hololive Production.
This game will be distributed for free, and the release date is scheduled for September 10, 2026 at 12:00. The genre is mystery adventure, the supported platform is Steam, and the supported language is English.
“HoloTrials: Case Covered” is set in “HoloHigh,” a parallel world where the talents from hololive English’s “Myth” and “Council/Promise” groups are reimagined as high school students. Players take on the role of student detective “Watson Amelia” and try to uncover the truth behind incidents that occur at the school.
The game is a visual novel that combines side-scrolling exploration, point-and-click investigation, and courtroom battles. The story unfolds as you gather evidence, stand in court, uncover contradictions in testimonies, present the correct evidence, and prove the truth. All characters are rendered as fully animated 2D sprites, employing a striking, lineless art style.
The story revolves around the rivalry between the “HoloMyth” and “HoloCouncil” factions, with “Gawr Gura” emerging as the primary suspect. Developer VTAC Games states that they created the game with love for the Hololive community and aimed to make it an accessible entry point for newcomers.
“holo Indie” is a game brand for fan-made games. It aims to co-create with fans and creators of Hololive Production around the world. It is produced using the Creator Game Program Support. It aims to provide continuous support for activities and create opportunities to deliver fan-made games.
