Video creator and VTuber Finder-ojisan has announced that he will be suspending his activities indefinitely. This was revealed on March 14, 2026, in a post on his X account.
Finder Uncle explained that the reason for the hiatus was that he “wanted to challenge himself with a new, bigger goal.” He plans to dedicate a year or more to this project, which means he will be unable to post videos on YouTube or accept video production commissions. He also stated that he will keep all his accounts and will report back when his challenge is successful.
Finder Uncle launched his YouTube channel in 2018, starting his career as a video creator and character. He creates a large number of short, one-off comedy videos, and in 2020 he also undertook projects such as “100 Videos Shitty Challenge.” His unique style has attracted many fans.
Furthermore, they have worked on numerous music videos for Nijisanji-affiliated VTubers. Most recently, in January 2026, they produced the music video for “IRIS OUT” sung by Akira Shikinagi. In the past, they have been involved in the production of music videos for multiple Nijisanji VTubers, including Ryushen, Aki Suzutani, and Touya Kenmochi. In addition, in 2022, they were in charge of producing the teaser movie for Sony Music’s VTuber project “VEE”.
He expressed his gratitude to his fans, saying, “Thank you for watching my crappy videos for about seven and a half years.”
