COVER Corporation announced its financial results for the third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026. Cumulative sales from April to December 2025 totaled 34,681 million yen, a 20.2% increase compared to the same period last year. Operating profit was 5,225 million yen, a 5.7% decrease. Net profit was 3,927 million yen, a 4.0% increase.
By business category, merchandising saw notable growth, increasing by 28.5%, driven by the expansion of trading cards and sales of products through our own e-commerce site. Sales in the licensing field also increased by 23.3%, driven by the expansion of overseas transactions and tie-ups with a variety of companies.
The streaming and content sector was boosted by the live performance of the new unit “FLOW GLOW.” The peak number of simultaneous connections for the New Year’s countdown live exceeded 230,000. Revenues from the live performance sector increased by 14.6%. Solo performances by affiliated talents and the first live performance at Ariake Arena were also held.
In the investment field, the development of smartphone games is progressing. “hololive Dreams,” a collaboration with QualiArts, is scheduled to be released in January 2026. The virtual space “HoloEarth” will feature live performances by the 5th generation members, providing the experience of sharing the same space as the talent using avatars.
Cover has set a goal of achieving sales of 100 billion yen in the fiscal year ending March 2030. Currently, the company is positioning itself as a period for strengthening its business structure for future growth, and will continue holding auditions and work to establish an overseas revenue base. At the same time, the company plans to improve logistics efficiency and reform its management structure.
