Dynamo Amusement acquires part of Media Front Japan’s business to expand location-based VR

Dynamo Amusement Co., Ltd. has taken over Media Front Japan’s location-based VR facility operation business. The two companies will sign an agreement on December 1, 2025, and will share each other’s know-how. As a result, the operation of “HEAD ROCK VR JAPAN in Tobu Zoo,” which Media Front Japan had been running at Tobu Zoo, will be transferred from January 2026. By integrating facility operation knowledge through this business acquisition, the company aims to further expand and enhance its own business.

Dynamo Amusement Co., Ltd., which will take over the business, has 25 years of expertise in facility-based entertainment and has been involved in everything from planning to production using virtual spaces. They were an early entrant into location-based VR using VR headsets, and have developed games such as “BIOHAZARD WALKTHROUGH THE FEAR,” a Resident Evil-themed game that can be played by up to four people, and “Boat Racing VR.”

Media Front Japan, which will take over the business, specializes in video planning and spatial design. It has been involved in major events both in Japan and overseas, and has worked on a wide range of spatial productions using XR. Representative content includes content that recreates high-altitude experiences and immersive digital attractions. It also has experiential content using sandboxes and paintings, as well as a unique exhibition system.

Dynamo Amusement plans to use this business acquisition as an opportunity to further grow its business in the facility-based VR field.
