Nijisanji VTuber Leos Vincent successfully completed a virtual triathlon during his birthday stream. The event included a bench press of 4000kg, a 90km bicycle ride, and a 20km marathon, all in the course of about nine hours, with breaks in between.
On his birthday two years ago, Leos also took on the challenge of a 50km smoke-free marathon. He completed the 50km distance in about 10 hours while broadcasting in 3D from the studio, which attracted a lot of attention.
This time, he says he has beefed up the plan and taken on the challenge after regaining his physical strength. He incorporated bench presses instead of swimming and planned it as his own “virtual triathlon.”
Two guests, Fura Kanato and Hoshirube Sho, participated as assistants for the bench press. The three had previously trained together at the gym and were well suited to assist in a heavy-lift competition. The challenge began with a warm-up using a 20kg barbell with 10kg plates on each side, for a total of 40kg.
Afterwards, during the long bike ride and marathon, she connected with guests, Nijisanji Livers, on the phone and continued the challenge while talking about her thoughts on her activities as a VTuber. She successfully completed the challenge after about eight hours.
After completing the challenge, Leos said he was exhausted, “I feel like I’ve had everything,” but also expressed his joy at completing the race. The full challenge can be seen in the video below.
Leo has been actively taking on physical sports-related projects. In June 2024, he hosted the “Nijisanji Sports King Championship” on his channel, featuring live announcer Ichiro Furutachi. Eight Nijisanji VTubers competed in six events, including push-up tries and strong grips.
