HoloEarth has been updated to Ver.1.4.0.0, with major additions including a new area and over 90 types of furniture.

On March 24th, the virtual space platform “HoloEarth” was updated to Ver. 1.4.0.0. Maintenance was performed from 12:00 to 18:00 on the same day, and a wide range of additions and changes were made, including the opening of a new area and a revamped simulation room.

The newly opened area is “Fortress City of Westa.” It is a city surrounded by city walls, centered around a massive circular ruin, and is depicted as a majestic cultural city. This area also appeared in the HoloEarth animated PV, and you can enjoy taking commemorative photos recreating scenes from the PV. To commemorate the opening, a cafe drink and a bouquet of flowers will be distributed to users who log in after the maintenance is complete.

The simulation room has also been significantly revamped. The gameplay environment has been improved overall, with the removal of item loss when incapacitated, increased movement speed, and an increase in initial carrying capacity from 100 to 300. Two new summonable bosses, “Huge Poison Slime” and “Bone Bull,” have been added. You can craft the new furniture item, “Jabberwock Statue,” using materials obtained by defeating these three bosses, including the existing Golem. More than 90 new furniture items have been added, including items related to the short anime “Hologura,” and they can be used in your My Room and My Shop.

In response to user requests, two areas, “Kyonomiyako” and “Celestial Beach,” have reopened. Kyonomiyako’s hours have been changed to allow players to enjoy the cherry blossoms at night, and Celestial Beach’s layout has been partially changed. To commemorate the reopening, HoloEarth original drinks, water guns, and the “Praying” emote will be distributed.

In addition, over 40 new emotes have been added. A new scooter, the “M²-SCOOTER,” has also been introduced, with two versions available: the “M²-SCOOTER Extreme,” which can be purchased in the shop, and the “M²-SCOOTER Neo,” which can be obtained by using a password hidden in the area. FLOW GLOW chat stamps and T-shirts have also been added to the Hololive official shop.
