XR Entertainment in Japan 2026.07.23

“Abyss Vault,” a 45-minute XR adventure for up to six people, will open at Canal City Hakata in Fukuoka on July 24th.

Japan XR Center Co., Ltd. will begin offering the free-roaming XR adventure game “Abyss Vault” at its XR Center Fukuoka store starting July 24, 2026.

This game is a cooperative adventure for up to six players. Wearing wireless VR headsets, players explore a massive underground facility, solving puzzles and completing missions. The experience lasts approximately 45 minutes.

The key to success lies in the “red, blue, and green” energy attributes assigned to each player. The game is designed for teamwork and cooperation, with each player taking on a specific role based on their attribute, such as disabling shields, attacking cores, and operating switches. There are many obstacles that cannot be overcome alone, so teamwork and decision-making skills are put to the test.
