360Channel Inc. announced that its spatial experience product “360maps” has been adopted as a guidance system for visitors at “Toranomon Hills Summer Mystery Night – A Mysterious Night at Toranomon Hills,” a summer event at Toranomon Hills operated by Mori Building Co., Ltd.
360maps is a service that utilizes high-precision location estimation technology, “VPS (Visual Positioning System),” to provide AR navigation and entertainment experiences on a smartphone’s web browser. It supports movement both inside and outside facilities without requiring the prior installation of an app.
“Summer Mystery Night – A Mysterious Night at Toranomon Hills -” will feature projection mapping and other events at various locations throughout Toranomon Hills from August 7th to August 16th, 2026. AR navigation will guide you through the building-crossing, from Toranomon Hills Station Tower via the T-Deck to the Oval Plaza on the 2nd floor of Mori Tower, where the projection mapping will take place.
360maps will be used as a navigation system connecting various spots within the event, such as the TOKYO NODE main exhibition venues on the 8th and 45th floors of the Station Tower, and the projection mapping venue in the Oval Plaza.
During the journey, a 3D object of the event’s key visual, the “eyeball,” will appear in augmented reality. Visitors can enjoy the event’s world while checking their route to their destination.
A projection mapping artwork by Shota Yamauchi, titled “Planet of Faces,” will be screened at the Oval Plaza on the second floor of Mori Tower. The screening time is from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, except on August 11th when it will be from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Admission is free.
Additionally, TOKYO NODE is currently hosting a solo exhibition by American multimedia artist Tony Ausler, titled “Tony Ausler: Between Technology and Spiritual Knowledge – Magic, Media, and Art,” until September 27, 2026.
