On July 21, 2026, the Steam Early Access version of the combat flight simulator “G-Rebels” was released. The price is ¥3,080 (regular price ¥3,850) with a 20% release discount. The sale runs until July 28th. The game is developed by Reakktor Studios and published by Senatis.
The story takes place in the year 2684 AD, when a massive catastrophe has submerged almost the entire Earth, leaving the surviving humans to build a colossal floating city on the ocean. As an elite soldier of the most powerful city-state, the player finds themselves on the front lines of maintaining order and vying for resources. Eventually, a secret mission begins, forcing the player to decide whether they are on the side of justice or playing a part in a conspiracy.
At the start of early access, the game will include up to 20 missions, including the 9 missions from Chapter 1. In the vast open world, you can enjoy a variety of activities such as bounty hunting, escort, smuggling, and racing, as well as participate in capturing strongholds and vying for power. You can also use the credits you earn to upgrade the engine, weapons, and shields of your ship, the “Skyblade,” and customize your combat style.
It also features a VR mode, allowing for an immersive flight experience from a cockpit perspective. A wide range of control methods are supported, including mouse & keyboard, gamepads, and HOTAS. The early access period is expected to last approximately six months, during which missions, regions, and features will be added, and improvements to physics and VR will be made. The price may be gradually increased upon official release. Japanese language support is not available.
