The release of “XREAL Neo,” which enables connection between XREAL and Nintendo Switch 2, has been postponed indefinitely.

XREAL, a company that develops and sells AR glasses, announced on March 19, 2026, that it would temporarily suspend the release of its mobile battery, “XREAL Neo.”

Initially, the product was scheduled for release in late March 2026. However, due to the additional time required for final verification and quality control, the company has determined that it cannot yet provide a definitive release date.

The XREAL Neo is an accessory device for the XREAL 1S AR glasses, which were announced on December 1, 2025. It functions as a 10,000mAh (38.7Wh) mobile battery and can also be used as a video converter to output Nintendo Switch 2 video to the XREAL series via USB Type-C. It is priced at 14,580 yen. The top of the unit features a MagSafe-compatible magnet, allowing it to be attached to an iPhone. It also supports fast charging up to 60W and 40W output.

In this announcement, XREAL has issued an apology to users, retailers, and other parties who were considering purchasing the product. Product inquiries are accepted through the dedicated support desk (email: [email protected]). Support hours are weekdays from 10:00 to 18:00 (excluding holidays and year-end/New Year period).
