360Channel’s “360maps” introduces AR navigation in Toranomon Hills

360Channel, Inc., a subsidiary of COLOPL, will provide the AR MAP system “360maps” to Toranomon Hills from January 29, 2026. The system can be accessed from a browser and does not require a dedicated app. Its distinctive feature is that it is easy for anyone to use.

360maps is characterized by its ability to accurately obtain your current location in indoor spaces through highly accurate positioning using VPS technology. In addition to 2D maps, it also displays AR navigation, overlaying your route on the view from the camera. This helps you navigate smoothly to your destination even in large indoor facilities where it’s easy to get lost.

In addition to store search and route guidance, this system also has entertainment functions. 360Channel has previously been responsible for the development and content production of XR and metaverse platforms. It is said that this technology and knowledge is being utilized. It will be possible to organize stamp rallies and mystery-solving events that can be enjoyed while touring the facility. It will also be possible to provide IP collaborations featuring characters and performances that take over the entire space. Each function can be individually switched on and off depending on the purpose of use.

With the introduction of this technology at Toranomon Hills’ information hub “TOKYO NODE” and “Toranomon Hills Station Tower,” the plan is to go beyond traditional route guidance and develop digital initiatives that will allow visitors to enjoy the experience of touring the facilities.
