Animation Yoyogi Academy has announced the establishment of a new “Course Singer” within its VTuber Department. This course will be available to students enrolling from April 2027 onwards, and students can choose to take it when they advance to their second year.
This course is an initiative that leverages the collaboration of the Yoyogi Animation Group, which was established in March 2026. It is an educational program developed jointly with VOISING Inc., a group company, and combines the educational know-how of Yoyogi Animation Academy with the production expertise of VOISING. VOISING is an agency that plans, manages, and produces singers and 2.5-dimensional idol IPs.
The establishment of this new course is driven by the increasing number of VTubers and creators who gain fans through singing activities. Musical expression, including the release of original songs, live performances, and posting cover song videos, has become an important element in expanding the scope of VTuber activities. In response to these market changes, we have decided to create a singing course as a place for specialized learning.
The curriculum is based on the streaming and content creation skills of the VTuber course, with added learning on singing activities and musical expression. Special lectures, feedback sessions, and opportunities to interact with industry creators will also be provided. Iwanaga Taiki, former Director and COO of Inc Ichikara. and Officer Executive of VOISING Inc., who was involved in the launch of the Nijisanji project, is scheduled to serve as a special lecturer. He will be in charge of lectures from the perspective of talent development and content production.
