High-quality videos from VTubers (Virtual YouTubers) and virtual creators are uploaded every day. From among them, I’ll introduce some videos that I personally think you should definitely watch. In particular, I’ll delve deeper into unique works, works with high technical skill and planning ability, and works that are timely, capturing the fun, effort, and talent of the creators!
【First Time Ever】I’m Going to Buy an Electric Guitar. 【#RindoChihaya / #hololivedev_is #FLOWGLOW】
Buying something expensive that you’ll use for a long time is always an exciting experience. Chihaya Rindo uploaded a video of herself going to buy an electric guitar. You can see how excited she is about finding her new companion.
She originally played acoustic guitar, but this is her first time buying an electric guitar. With a budget of 500,000 yen in hand, she heads to a music store.
The highlight of this video is that it’s also a well-made explanatory video about various types of guitars. A store clerk introduces major guitar shapes and manufacturers to Rindo Chihaya, a beginner electric guitarist, and watching this video will give you a general understanding of how electric guitars are classified.
Also, although I didn’t buy any this time, I was given a special look at some vintage guitars, and the footage of various high-end guitars being filmed is also valuable.
Did Chihaya Rindo finally find that one special bike…? You’ll have to watch the video to find out!
[Shizuma Rei] Collaboration realized with Aeon Mall! What is the true identity of this mysterious individual VTuber, and what are her thoughts on her activities? #YubariVideo
The “After-Hours Talk” series is a series of interviews where various VTubers are invited to talk. This time, the guest who came to Yuushin Rei is Shizuma Rei, who has been gaining attention for her activities specializing in Aeon Malls. Unusually, this time it was Shizuma Rei who made the offer to participate.
Shizuma Rei has released numerous videos and shorts about identifying and visiting Aeon Malls, but he doesn’t usually talk much about himself outside of member-only content. This mysterious figure has now spoken publicly for almost the first time about how he learned about VTubers and why he is so committed to them. His perspective on his activities, particularly his statement, “The world is a fascinating place,” reveals a lot about his way of thinking. There is also the possibility that he will be working in new fields other than Aeon Malls in the future, which raises expectations.
One of the highlights of this “After-Hours Talk” series is Yuushin Rei’s excellent listening skills as an interviewer. She is very good at drawing out conversation and has a knack for keeping the other person talking.
Pikihai will be taking over Ikaho Onsen [Official Collaboration Confirmed]
Peaky Hikers (hereinafter referred to as “Pikihai”), who have been promoting Gunma Prefecture for a long time, have finally officially collaborated with Ikaho Onsen! Banners will be displayed, and TORECO trading cards will be sold at 20 facilities. A video introducing all 20 facilities, plus a little extra, has been uploaded.
This guide explains each facility where trading cards are sold, from restaurants and inns to souvenir shops and the Yumeji Takehisa Museum Memorial. The detailed and thorough explanations of each location’s charm and highlights are a testament to the two authors’ love for Gunma and the Onsen Ikaho hot spring resort area.
This is a film that will make you want to visit every single shop in the Ikaho Onsen area just by watching it. You’ll want to follow the same route as the two characters and visit all of them, but it seems that it’s quite difficult to visit everything in one day, so it’s recommended to stay overnight somewhere.
Furthermore, the first 50 people to complete the trading card set will receive a 2,000 yen gift certificate usable in Ikaho, a limited edition Pikihai towel, and a limited edition TORECO card. Be sure to give it a try!
In previous videos introducing Ikaho Onsen, we visited many shops that weren’t featured in this one. Watching the collaboration video between Aoi ch and Omega Sisters will give you an even better understanding of the charm of Ikaho Onsen.
A real-life special cleaning scene from an active special cleaning worker ※Viewer discretion advised【#SpecialVFestival3】【#vtuber/Kofin Yasuragi】#NewcomersWelcome
Yasuragi Kofin is currently working as a special cleaning professional. He often talks about his work in his live streams, but this time he is doing a compilation stream where he introduces the special cleaning sites he has actually faced.
Please be advised that some of the photos used are actual images taken at the scene. This is an extremely rare broadcast that allows you to learn about the realistic situation at the scene of “death” that you would never normally be able to see, through photographs and narration.
The book recounts, accompanied by photographs, the challenges of cleaning floors stained with bodily fluids, blood, toilets, and bathrooms, effectively conveying the arduous nature of specialized cleaning work. It also includes numerous real-life stories of specialized cleaning jobs, such as cleaning the sites of suicide jumps, the rooms of those who committed seppuku, the tidings of hoarder houses, and the abandoned ramen shops.
The content is quite graphic, so those who are sensitive to such material should be careful when watching. However, for those who are interested, it’s a stream that offers a glimpse into the realities of the world. The latter half also includes a warning about reducing the number of lonely deaths.
You’ll want to take a bath tomorrow! A very relaxing #hotsprings & #publicbathhouses – Big bathhouse studies♨ #SpecializedVFestival #NewVTuber #BathhouseTour
Yuraku Meguri, a hot spring enthusiast who holds numerous qualifications including a Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare-certified hot spring bathing instructor, Beppu Hatto Ambassador, hot spring tourism practitioner, hot spring sommelier, and hot spring master, and who enjoys hot springs 250 days a year, has released a video explaining the basics of hot springs and public baths. From the fundamental differences between hot springs and public baths to bathing methods that are good for your health, this video is packed with explanations that will greatly enhance your enjoyment of visiting hot springs and public baths.
In particular, the explanation of the 10 types of hot spring water is very detailed, explaining the differences between them and using slides to show the properties and effects of each. The content is easy to understand even for hot spring beginners, so I recommend watching this video before going to a hot spring.
Furthermore, in the section titled “Recommended Bathing Methods That Your Body Will Love,” the author provides plenty of explanations that fully utilize their knowledge as a hot spring bathing instructor. For example, they discuss why you feel the urge to go to the toilet when you take a bath, what preparations you should make before taking a bath, and what order is best for bathing, and all of these things will make you want to try them out.
What makes Yuraku Meguri’s stories so engaging is his fluent speaking style and the fact that every topic is very specific and easy to listen to. Moreover, his genuine love for hot springs shines through in every word, so listening to him will definitely make you want to go to a hot spring tomorrow.
As summer approaches and the weather gets hotter, one video you’ll want to watch is “Top 3 Hot Spring Water Types Perfect for Summer.” In a conversational format with fairies, it introduces recommended hot spring water types perfect for summer in a fun, fast-paced style. Watching it in conjunction with the previously mentioned stream will give you a deeper understanding of the charm of hot springs.
【#NeruKingContest】We’ll decide who has the best “Neru” /Kanae-sensei/Asano Ruri/Anto Yuge/Tsukinoki Chiroru【Inaba Haneru / Nanashi Inku】
Inaba Haneru, who boasts an outstanding talent for creating quiz-type projects, held the “Neru King Championship” to commemorate her 8th anniversary in the industry. She invited Asano Ruri, who claims to be Inaba Haneru’s top fan, Tsukinogi Chiroru, who dotes on Inaba Haneru to a stalker-like degree, her dog-loving friend Amato Yuge, and Kanae-sensei, who filled in for her due to various circumstances, to be contestants, and they competed for points in three types of quizzes related to Inaba Haneru.
The first is titled “Inaba Haneru’s Abnormal Quiz,” where you have to guess which of 12 special episodes are based on real events. The second is “Inaba Haneru’s Multiple Choice Quiz,” which allows you to learn more about Inaba Haneru. Up to this point, the content is a challenge for hardcore Inaba Haneru fans, allowing you to think about how you’ve followed Inaba Haneru and what kind of personality she has.
The third quiz, “What is this for sleeping?”, was a twist on the original, requiring participants to fill in the blanks in a picture with letters to spell out “sleeping”. For example, “sleeping XXXXX” became “Nerunerunerune,” making it a very unique and exciting quiz.
The quiz content strikes a perfect balance, offering something that fans of Inaba Haneru will enjoy watching, something that will challenge the contestants’ minds, and something that will be entertaining even for those who aren’t fans. I’m also amazed by the amount of preparation that seems to be done entirely by one person. The smooth progression of the show, with the four contestants giving their all, showcases Inaba Haneru’s excellent hosting skills. The “Neru King Championship” broadcast itself is a great example of the overall talent of Inaba Haneru as an entertainer.
【Compliance Training】It’s all right, Chima-chan✨【Torakinhie Tora/Machida Chima】
As a VTuber, it’s important to adhere to compliance guidelines. So, Torakinhime Shoko held a compliance training stream. The instructor was Machida Chima from Nijisanji. Is this really the right choice…?
Of course, it wasn’t okay. The show was presented in a quiz format with compliance-related questions, and Torakinhi Shoko and Machida Chima answered them. Machida Chima, who is famous for being one of the most outrageous people in Nijisanji, gave answers that were far beyond anything you could have imagined, not just a simple comedy routine.
In the second half, he answers questions from viewers as a compliance instructor. His answers are a series of hilarious and unusual responses, which have even made Torakinhi Shoko laugh heartily. He describes them as having “the sharpness of a knife sharpened with a diamond.”
Please watch and see for yourself what kind of answers she actually gives. By the way, if you search for “Machida Chima” after watching this broadcast, you’ll notice that the search suggestions are quite interesting, perhaps due to the broadcast’s influence, so please try that out as well.
Onennenenne / Debidebi Devil – A terrifying demon’s original song
The cutest and most devilishly terrifying song has arrived. The full animated music video for Debidebi Devil’s new original song “Onennenenne” has been uploaded. Lyrics, composition, and arrangement by Kikuo.
Debidebi Devil’s popularity is undoubtedly due to her mascot-like cuteness, but what makes her such an appealing VTuber is the glimpse she gives off of true demonic terror. Both her “cute” and “terrifying” sides are beautifully expressed through the melody, lyrics, and Debidebi Devil’s lighthearted singing style. Debidebi Devil’s innocent vocals and the sonic world created by Kikuo are a perfect match, giving the listener the feeling of looking at a picture book that hints at cruelty beneath its cuteness.
It’s tough to live while wallowing in sadness. But if that’s the case, wouldn’t it be happier to fall asleep listening to this song in the same world as Debidebi Devil, even if it meant losing your soul? This song shakes up your values, as if a devil is whispering that to you.
Debidebi Devil has also uploaded the official dance video for “Onenne Nenne.” Ren Zotto of NIJISANJI EN, who is also one of Debidebi Devil’s contractors (fan name), has already uploaded a short “I tried dancing” video of this terrifyingly cute dance.
Also, a cover version of “Tetris” by Debidebi Debiru and Ren Zotto has been uploaded. Their smooth vocals, especially in the extremely fast-paced parts, are a must-listen.
Gray Proof / Tsunomaki Watame [original]
A burning desire to prove one’s existence resonates through the intense sound. Watame Tsunomaki’s new original music video, “Haiiro no Shoumei” (Gray Proof), has been released. Lyrics, composition, and arrangement are by Kishida (Kishida Kyoudan & THE Myojo Rockets).
Watame Tsunomaki is known for her unwavering and passionate vocals, which fully express her feelings as she pushes forward. This is a quintessential rock song that fully utilizes her powerful voice. Her vocals, sung over a driving guitar, bass, and drum beat, are consistently straightforward and infused with a burning passion.
The lyrics, “There’s no way I can hope for a beautiful victory, and I don’t need glamour, because that’s who I am,” are one of the parts that best represent this song. Nothing is going well, and she’s not at ease. On the contrary, in the animation in the music video, she falls short at one point, experiences setbacks, and even suffers defeat. Her singing voice, which sings that this image of continuing to run without giving up, even when she’s battered and bruised, is what defines “me,” leaves a lasting impression on the hearts of listeners.
Also, Under the Moon – Akatsuki Ruki [Official MV]
The singing style, which evokes a sense of farewell, really tugs at the heartstrings. The music video for Akatsuki Ruki’s new original song, “Under the Moon Again,” has been released. Akatsuki Ruki wrote and composed the song, while STUDIO YAONG handled the arrangement.
What’s particularly noteworthy is Akatsuki Ruki’s singing style, which incorporates even her breathing as part of her vocal expression. The carefully calculated reverberation of her voice beautifully recreates the song’s ephemeral nature, giving you the feeling of listening to her sing alone on a quiet, moonlit night.
The part where the singer expresses the rising regret in the line “If only I had accepted your words that day, ah,” and then describes how those feelings flutter like butterflies, leaving a lingering scent in the heart, is truly goosebump-inducing. And yet, the poignant way in which the singer continues to hope that “we will surely meet again” despite the lingering sadness of parting is deeply moving.
This song perfectly showcases the songwriting skills and emotionally resonant vocals of VSinger Akatsuki Ruki.
【Sung by a handsome girl】Taiyou Ikenai【Komori Samesho cover】
The thumbnail alone gives off a strong sense of being a joke, but a cover song that is absolutely perfect for the stunningly beautiful and handsome Samesho Komori has been uploaded.
The music video is a parody of the drama series “Hanazakari no Kimitachi e ~Ikemen♂Paradise~”. The mere fact that all the handsome characters are played by Samemasu Komori is surreal and hilarious, but his breathy, handsome vocals are genuinely cool, and before you know it, your heart starts fluttering, which is a problem. In particular, the way he sings the line “Ah, I feel like I’m going to touch you, but I can’t!” directly grabs your heart. It truly is an “Ikemen♀Paradise,” and in the comments section, fans were seen laughing and swooning at the same time.
This music video has a perfect flow, right down to the punchline. It might be fun to carefully compare which hairstyle Komori Samemasu has your favorite.
