アメリカのVR賞である「The Proto Awards」が8日ロサンゼルスにて授賞式を行い、各部門と大賞の受賞作品が発表されました。
VRアワードイベント「The Proto Awards 2016」
「The Proto Awards 2016」は、VR作品におけるアカデミー賞のようなアワードイベント。
7月に作品のエントリーを受け付けた後、審査員による投票と一般参加者による投票を経て、10月8日にロサンゼルス・Avalon Hollywoodにて授賞式が行われました。
今年も数多くの作品が参加した中、「ソーシャル」「モバイル」「臨場感」「ゲーム」「インタラクティブ」「イノベーション」「作曲」「ライブアクション」「サウンドデザイン」「教育」「学生作品」「音楽体験」「アート」「物語」「低予算」「UI」及び「総合部門」の全17部門で、それぞれ受賞作品が決定しました。
総合部門には、『The Lab』や『Tilt Brush』、『Raw Data』、『Bullet Train』などの注目作品がノミネートされていました
