In VRChat, a wide variety of content is released day and night, from game worlds where you can play with friends to scenic worlds perfect for relaxing. In this series, we will pick out and introduce some of the most visually appealing worlds from the vast number of available worlds.
The world I’m introducing today is “été – SALON․,” where you can stroll through a modern European-style cityscape.
“été – SALON․” is a world created by moné, a creator active in the “VRChat” domain who also sells avatars on BOOTH. You can visit a townscape lined with traditionally designed houses, built around a small pond in the center.
The first thing that surprises you when you enter the world is the effect of black bars appearing at the top and bottom of your field of view. You can enjoy a cinematic effect, with the top and bottom “tightened,” as you enter “été – SALON․”.

As you walk along to the elegant background music, you’ll reach the promenade surrounding the town. From there, it’s up to the player whether to head to the docks or take a stroll around the perimeter.
The sidewalk features a cafe terrace and canvases, showing attention to detail even in the smallest areas. It gives the impression that the area is usually bustling with people.
The brush placed near the canvas is removable and actually functions as a QV pen. The dog plush toy nearby will pull out a mirror when touched, and it even barks “Woof!” when activated.
Incidentally, when you turn off the mirror, it makes a sad whimpering sound, which might sting a little for some people.
A little further on, on a bench, sits the avatar “Hustea,” relaxing. This avatar was created by moné, and touching it allows you to change into a sample avatar. The bread-shaped avatar “CREAM” casually placed on the nearby stall is also charming.
“été – SALON” is a world where you can enjoy a townscape full of old and charming buildings. The fact that moné’s past works are placed throughout the world is a “technique” that only a creator who is active in activities other than world creation can employ.
Incidentally, this world also features private guest rooms where you can rest in a bed. They’re located in a somewhat secluded spot, so those who are interested might find it fun to try and find them.
