CharacterBank Co., Ltd. will be conducting a free open beta for the VR action RPG “Knights of Fiona” for Meta Quest 3, Meta Quest 3S, and Steam VR. Participation is free of charge.
“The Knights of Fiona” is a VR action RPG set in the fantasy world of the continent of Gallia. It features combat using swords, bows, and magic, and can be played solo or with a party of up to three players to take on quests.
The open beta will be conducted in three sessions, each including a 30-hour continuous play period. Session 1 will be held from 5:00 AM to 8:00 AM on August 14th, and Session 2 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on the same day. Session 3 will run from 5:00 PM on August 15th to 11:00 PM on August 16th, offering 30 hours of continuous play.
This game supports cross-play between the Meta Quest and Steam VR versions, allowing players on different platforms to adventure together. During the open beta period, nine challenge quests created specifically for this test will be released sequentially. The first quest, “Woof Woof Paradise,” will be released at 6:00 AM on August 14th, one hour after the start of the first test. Character growth and quest progress will carry over between the first, second, and third test periods, but save data from the open beta will not carry over to the official release version.
Participation methods vary by platform. For the Steam version, you can request access through the “Playtest” function on the store page. For the Meta Quest version, participation is via a dedicated link, but is limited to the first 2,500 people. Live streaming of gameplay, posting gameplay videos, and sharing screenshots are permitted.
The feedback and bug reports received will be used to make adjustments and improve the quality of the game before its official release. This game is also scheduled to be featured in “VR Games Showcase August 2026,” a VR game announcement program that will be streamed on August 14th at 3:00 AM.
