Japanese VR game “Clover Climber” surpasses 300,000 units sold; related videos exceed 200 million views.

Crowbar Climber, a VR game developed by MyDearest Inc.’s game studio “Bazooka Studio,” has surpassed 300,000 units sold in total, approximately 1 year and 5 months after its release on October 30, 2024.

“Clover Climber” is a climbing game where you use crowbars held in both hands to hook onto walls and obstacles, relying solely on your arm movements to climb to the top. The game is characterized by its intense tension, where one wrong move and you could fall at any moment, and the exceptional sense of accomplishment when you reach the top, making it highly addictive and something you’ll want to play again and again. Since its release, it has gained popularity, especially among young teenagers in North America.

Furthermore, this game features a function that allows players to easily record footage from both their own perspective (first-person view) and an objective perspective (third-person view), and gameplay videos have spread widely, mainly on TikTok. Related videos have been viewed over 200 million times.

Since its release, the game has been continuously updated with additions such as multiplayer modes and new stages.
