Thirdverse Co., Ltd. released “Mayhem Dash: Sky City with Sanrio Characters,” a social VR racing game for Meta Quest, on July 31st. The game is free to play.
This game is a free-to-play social VR racing game developed under license from Sanrio characters. Set in the floating city of “Sky City,” you can enjoy racing with up to 10 players from around the world.
Based on feedback received during the early access period of “Hello Kitty Skyland,” the gameplay, world, and brand have been revamped. In races, players can utilize items and drifting to enjoy exciting, ever-changing races. Players can customize their own avatars and participate in racing festivals.
Along with the launch, the first ranked season, “Founder Season,” has also begun. During the season, players will compete for rank points, and at the end of the season, they can earn exclusive rewards and titles according to their rank. The season will run from July 31st to August 28th, 2026.
This game incorporates ranks, rankings, and a season system. Items and events featuring Sanrio characters will also be implemented sequentially.
Additionally, the “Program Creator” is scheduled to begin in mid-August 2026. Further details will be announced on the official Discord server.
