KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO to perform at US charity event “VTuber Summer Slam 2026”

KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO has decided to participate in “VTuber Slam Summer 2026,” an international charity event organized by the US non-profit organization Gamers Outreach.

VTuber Slam Summer 2026 is a 10-day charity marathon streaming event where VTubers from around the world gather to raise funds to support hospitalized children. The event will run from June 19th to June 28th, 2026, with creators from around the world conducting charity streams during this period.

Four members from KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO will be appearing: Rime, Koko, Kakyoin, and Hyoka. The title of the stream is “Games for Kid Every: Stream Charity for Children Hospitalized.” It will be streamed live on the KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO official YouTube channel from 11 PM on June 25th to 1 AM the following day. The stream will be mainly in English, with Japanese translations interspersed. The content will include an introduction to “Outreach Gamers” and a charity game challenge (Overcooked! 2).

Gamers Outreach is a US-based non-profit organization founded in 2007. It provides playtime through video games to hospitalized children, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and anxiety during their illness. They provide over 7.7 million gaming experiences to children annually.

The donations collected through the live stream will be used for Gamers Outreach’s flagship project, “GO Kart.” GO Kart is a mobile kiosk terminal equipped with a game console, monitor, and controller, designed to be easily transported to a child’s bedside. It is currently deployed in over 500 medical facilities in 15 countries worldwide, and has also been introduced in hospitals in Japan.

Details on watching the live stream and making donations can be found on the campaign’s special website.
